Description
Calling all Gonk lovers! In this Christmas Gonk decorating class we will be decorating a Terry’s Chocolate Orange, to look like our favourite Christmas gnome! Using simple decorating tools, you will be using sugarpaste to cover and decorate your own super cute Gonk.
Classes are limited to eight to ensure I can give everyone lots of guidance and help when needed. We will be decorating our Gonks standing up. As such, in order to be able to reach the top of the counter comfortably, I recommend a minimum age of 10.
What is involved?
In this Gonk decorating class we will:
- Use sugarpaste to ‘dress’ our own gonk. Different colours will be available on the day If there is a particular colour you’d like to use, please let me know ahead of time.
- Use simple tools to create a fun and festive design, you can take home and enjoy.
- Ill show you the basics, but then you are free to play with the design of your own gonk and come up with your own creation.
What’s included in the price?
- All the equipment needed to decorate your gonk will be provided to use for the class.
- Expert guidance given throughout.
- Your own gonk to take away and enjoy at home or give as a gift.
- Refreshments will be provided.
Where and When?
This class will be held on the 7th December, and 22nd December 2025 at 10:30am.
Classes will be held at Jacob’s Bagel bakery, The Old School, Stane Street, Pulborough RH20 1DJ, and will run for approximately 2.5 hours.

There is a limited amount of parking on site. If you are coming as part of a group booking, I recommend travelling together where possible.
No tickets will be posted to you. Simply turn up on the day with your confirmation email (no need to print if this is on your phone to show me).
Allergens:
The gonks will contain gluten, egg, milk, soya, and may contain traces of nut and sesame.
Terms and Conditions
PAYMENT:
1.1 You’ll receive an email after your purchase confirming your booking. Once booked, classes are non refundable and non transferable, excepting conditions in section 2.
1.2 Your place on a course cannot be guaranteed until full payment has been made.
1.3 Full payment must be made and received at the time of booking.
CANCELLATION BY YOU
2.1 You may cancel your place on the course up to 8 weeks before the course start date. Under these circumstances you will be entitled to a full refund of your course fees.
2.2 If you cancel 3-8 weeks before the course start date you will be entitled to a 50% refund.
2.3 Cancelling within 3 weeks or less of the course start date will mean you are not entitled to a refund, however, at our discretion and availability, you may be offered a place on another course of the same or lesser value on a future date. If the replacement course has a higher value, then you will need to pay the difference. If the course has a lower value you will not be entitled to a refund of the difference.
2.4 If you wish to cancel your place on a booked course, please do so in writing to carrie@caritascakedesign.co.uk. Please note refunds may take up to 2 weeks to process.
CANCELLATION BY US
3.1 If in the unlikely event we need to cancel a course, we will endeavour to give you at least one week notice. You will have the option of rebooking onto the same course at a later date, another course of the same value, using your booking fee as a credit towards a higher value course, or a full refund. Please note that full refunds may take up to three weeks to process.
3.2 We will not be liable for any losses (including, but not limited to travel, accommodation or loss of earnings) incurred as a result of the course cancellation or modification as set out above, beyond the cost of the course fee.
NON ATTENDANCE
4.1 If you are unable to attend a course due to personal or professional reasons, you will not be entitled to a refund, one to one tuition to make up for the missed learning opportunity, or automatic transfer to another date. However, we will consider such action as we consider to be fair and reasonable.
4.2 Please note that if alternative options are offered, there may be an additional charge.
4.3 Whilst we wish to fair and take your circumstances into account when looking at transferring your course fees, if you do not give us any prior notice of non attendance, or simply just don’t turn up on the day, then you will not be entitled to any form or refund or alternative arrangements.
