Wedding cake flavours
As a bespoke wedding cake maker, all my cakes are baked fresh to order, with the belief that how your cake tastes is as important as how it looks.
Each cake is made with four perfectly even cake layers as standard, separated by three generous layers of filling, and stand a minimum of five inches tall. If your cake has a sugarpaste finish, then it will have an indulgent layer of Belgian white chocolate ganache under a thin layer of Swiss fondant icing, finished with my signature clean, sharp edges.
I believe that every cake is as unique as every couple. The flavours you choose should reflect not only your personal favourites, but also your vision for the day, the season of your wedding, and who you are as a couple.
If you are having multiple tiers then why not have a different flavour for each tier to represent the many facets of your relationship. Tiers do not all need to be the same flavour, nor are there set rules about which tier you can have which flavour. You do not need to have a traditional fruit cake as the bottom tier for example.

Vanilla bean sponge with Madagascan vanilla buttercream and seedless raspberry conserve

My rich, dark chocolate fudge cake, filled with chocolate buttercream (or Nutella buttercream, or salted caramel, or raspberry, or vanilla…)
Light and moist, flavoured with vanilla and cocoa, filled with vanilla buttercream
A variation on my chocolate fudge cake, flavoured with an orange twist, and filled with a chocolate orange buttercream
DARK CHOCOLATE AND BLACK CHERRY
My signature chocolate fudge cake infused with cherry brandy, filled with a cherry buttercream and dark cherry conserve
WHITE CHOCOLATE & RASPBERRY
Vanilla bean sponge with freeze dried raspberry pieces, with white chocolate buttercream and seedless raspberry jam conserve
Lightly spiced carrot cake, filled with a zesty orange buttercream
Almond sponge with cherry almond buttercream and cherry conserve
RHUBARB, ORANGE AND GINGER
A moist, lightly spiced orange zest cake, filled with rhubarb buttercream and rhubarb and ginger conserve.
A warming and sticky gingerbread sponge made with ginger and cinnamon, filled with Lotus Biscoff buttercream
GUINNESS AND WHITE CHOCOLATE
My signature chocolate fudge cake, infused with Guinness with a light white chocolate buttercream.
TRADITIONAL FRUIT CAKE
Made with brandy soaked sultanas, glacé cherries, currents, cranberries and citrus fruits, baked slowly, and finished in a layer of marzipan before decorating in luxury sugarpaste
